JEWELLERY CARE

Your new jewellery can be worn everyday, but it’s highly recommended to remove your treasures before engaging in sea activities, sports and sleeping. Doing so will decrease breakages, irritation and harm. (Rings catching, earrings injuring skin)

Chemicals in our water can effect semi-precious stones, as well as metals. Exposing your jewellery to chlorine, detergents and creams will tarnish your sparkling silver. You can buy a polishing cloth for when your jewellery’s sparkle needs rejuvenating (see shops page)

If you are looking to purchase a beautiful piece of jewellery including seaglass youll love to know all seaglass has been picked by me and my children from varies Cornish beaches, such as Marazion, Praa Sands and Mousehole. Once brought home, the seaglass is washed ALOT! Once dry I coat each piece with oil to give it a beautiful shine. If your seaglass starts to become frosted, just dab a small amount of baby oil onto it and it’ll shine bright again.

All the stones from opals to tourmalines are locally purchased and handled with great care. If any stones have been damaged they either get re-shaped or have a large discount if already set into a piece of jewellery.

Your purchase will always include your own polishing cloth, use this on your silver to regain its shine if you notice your jewellery is becoming dull - always keep your jewellery in a tightly sealed container - jewellery left out in the air will become oxidised and willl need a good polish to restore its beautiful high shine!
